Zoomfunctie op de Mavic 3, klonk als een goed verhaal maar is toch iets anders, het gaat niet om optische zoom maar om een hybride beeld van beide camera's.
Wat ik aan testen op Youtube vind wordt ik niet echt blij van.

"The DJI Mavic 3 28x Hybrid Zoom works by digitally zooming in using the main camera to about 4x zoom at which point the drone switches over to the second camera to continue until it reaches 28x digital zoom.

Initially zooming with the second camera looks decent until it to about 14x times from which point onwards the footage starts to show a lot of noise. The small sensor size and the fixed aperture of f/4.4 are the main culprits here. Even under the best lighting conditions, the footage will quickly become too grainy for professional use if professional drone pilots will even use the footage at all."

Voor wat ik al gezien heb is er sprake van een 7x optische zoom met "deftig" beeld.
Alles wat tussen 1x en 7x, en boven die 7x gaat, is digitale zoom waarbij je dus gewoon het beeld uitvergroot en kwaliteitsverlies hebt.

DJI noemt het natuurlijk "explore mode" in de zin van, je kan eens inzoomen in de verte om te zien of in de verte iets interessants is om naartoe te vliegen, maar in de praktijk probeer je er wel gebruik van te maken natuurlijk.
Feit dat er geen manuele instellingen zijn voor die lens is ook geen pluspunt. Enkel auto exposure is voorhanden in explore mode. Dat zou dacht ik met firmware updates nog kunnen gefikst worden, maar of ze dat ook gaan doen?
